This policy covers the Hughie website at www.hellohughie.com, the Hughie job board, and the Hughie waitlist. braid ai labs, LLC is responsible for the information collected here. We will update this policy before accounts or paid services open.

The Hughie browser extension has a separate privacy policy.

What we collect when you join the waitlist.

We store your email address, the time you signed up, and whether you used the form at the top or bottom of the homepage. We also record when we sent your confirmation link and when you confirmed your address.

We use your IP address to limit repeated signup requests. We do not store it in your waitlist record.

What we send.

We email you a confirmation link that expires after 24 hours. If you did not sign up, you can ignore it. After you confirm, we may email you about Hughie opening and your place on the waitlist.

What we collect when you use the job board.

You can search the job board without an account. Cloudflare uses your IP address to limit repeated requests. We do not save it in the job board's database.

The job board sets a cookie named hughie-board-browse. It remembers whether you browse jobs in pages or with infinite scroll. The cookie lasts one year from the last time you open a job board page with that choice in its address, including when you reload the page.

The job board also saves your light or dark theme setting in your browser, and it keeps your place in the job list until you close the tab. These stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

When you report a problem with a job, we store the kind of problem and the version of the job. We also keep a count of reports for each kind of problem on each day, up to 1,000, and when the first and latest reports arrived. A report never includes your IP address or email address, and the form has no place to write a message.

We keep request logs and browser error reports to find and fix problems with the job board. Cloudflare stores these records for us. They can include the page you opened and your search filters, your browser, your approximate location, the result our server sent, and how long it took to respond.

When you use Share or Copy link on a job, the link includes your current search filters. Anyone you send it to can see them.

Services we use.

Cloudflare hosts this website and the job board, stores waitlist records and job problem reports, and sends the confirmation email. When you visit either site or join the waitlist, Cloudflare handles that request for us. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

This site uses Google Fonts. Your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address with the request. See Google Fonts' privacy FAQ.

We do not sell your email address.

How to leave the waitlist.

We keep your address while the waitlist is open unless you ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you joined with and ask to be removed. We will delete your waitlist record.
