How ratings work.
Hughie's ratings come from a 2025 study by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The six exposure levels.
| ILO exposure level | On the planned Hughie board |
|---|---|
| Not exposed | Included |
| Minimal | Included |
| Gradient 1 | Included |
| Gradient 2 | Not included |
| Gradient 3 | Not included |
| Gradient 4 | Not included |
Gradient 1 is the lowest of the four exposed levels, and gradient 4 is the highest.
What a rating means.
A rating estimates how exposed an occupation's tasks are to generative AI. It does not predict whether a particular job will disappear. Even the lowest level is not a promise that a job is AI-proof.
